Primary and Secondary Additive

A basic distinction is made between two types of fuel additives:

Primary additive:

The additive is added to fuels already in the tank farm.

Secondary additive:

The additive is purchased from a specialist dealer and mixed with the fuel during the refueling process (in the company's own yard tanks or directly into the vehicle) in accordance with the supplier's instructions.

TOP TORQUE® is used both as a primary and secondary additive, as it does not differ in its composition or modus operandi.
