Freight and passenger trains

Rail-bound traction vehicles, which use one or more diesel engines to generate power, are used wherever an electric overhead line cannot be built or operated economically, e.g. on economically unattractive branch lines or in shunting operations.

To reduce traffic-related soot emissions and air pollutants, TOP TORQUE® can be used without conversions, by adding it to the fuel. Your retrofitted diesel locomotives in freight and passenger transport and shunting operations, which operate without electric drive, can also be treated with TOP TORQUE®.

For your locomotives (including those running on HVO):
